Sinan Mill – Historic Granaries – Nature Trip

One of the places to visit in Antalya Konyaalti is the Sinan mill and this is a nature protection area. It is one of the places visited by nature lovers. If you want to do different activities, you can visit Sinan mill. You can get fresh air, take a walk and see the historical granaries.

The mill is located in the Caglarca neighborhood of the Konyaalti district. It is approximately 45 km away from the Konyaalti district and approximately 40 km from the center of Antalya. There are also 86 wooden granaries from the Late Ottoman Period around the mill. It is thought that the mill and the granaries around the mill are approximately 300 years old.

It is said that these granaries were inspired by the sarcophagi of the Lycian region. These warehouses attract a lot of attention from many people as they are made using cedar wood without the use of nails. The reason why these warehouses are made of cedar wood is that the products in the warehouse are protected from insects by the smell of cedar resin.

The warehouses are built on a hill with an altitude of 900 meters. You can reach the mill by taking a long nature walk. If you want to have a pleasant walk in nature and see the historical granaries, you should definitely visit the Sinan mill.

Speaking of nature, you can also visit Doyran Pond, which is located on the route of the mill road and is highly appreciated by many. If you want to get information about Doyran pond, you can take a look at our Doyran pond article that we have added for you on our site.
