Bridge of Hercules – Historical Bridge to See in Alanya

The Hercules Bridge is approximately 30 km from the center of Alanya. It is approximately the same distance to both Alanya and Gazipasa. If you want to spend time in nature other than seeing a historical bridge, you can visit the Hercules Bridge.

Although it is clearly stated that the bridge remains from the Roman Period, the exact date of construction is not known yet. Despite this, it is rumored that the bridge is 1800 years old in some sources. The bridge has a large arch approximately ten meters in diameter. It is thought that the bridge was named Hercules because the Statue of Hercules is 2 km away. Hercules statue is exhibited in Alanya museum.

Right next to the bridge, there is also a restaurant serving as an indoor and outdoor area. If you wish, you can visit this historical bridge with your family and spend a pleasant time in the restaurant and picnic area right next to it.
