The bridge located on the Koprucay river is also known by different names as Belkıs, Old Bridge and Koprupazar due to the market set up around it by the locals. There are 7 bridge eyes of different sizes, large and small.
The length of the historical bridge is approximately 225 meters, and its width is between 3.5 meters and 6.5 meters. The arch span of the bridge varies between 5 meters and 16 meters. What attracts attention on the bridge is an inscription that is 6 meters long.
The bridge, which collapsed as a result of the earthquakes, was built on the ruins of the bridge between 1219 and 1236 in order to provide transportation from the shore. Stones found in the nearby city of Aspendos were used for the construction of the historical bridge, which was rebuilt during the reign of Alaaddin Keykubat. A certain part of the bridge, which was last repaired in 2014, is supported by steel constructions.
