A Beautiful Bay and Beach in Kas – Hidayet Bay and Beach
Hidayet Bay beach is located 2.5 km from Kas town centre. As for its exact location, it is within the borders of Çukurbağ Peninsula, which is connected to Kas district. Surrounded by rocks and olive trees, the bay takes its name from a person named Hidayet, who once lived around the bay.
Hidayet Bay, which used to be one of the most preferred untouched bays of Kas district, is now operated by a private business. This establishment offers both accommodation and beach services to its visitors. If your aim is just to swim, you do not have to pay any entrance fee to the establishment. Hidayet Bay Beach entrance is completely free.
While the water floor of the Hidayet cove beach consists of large and small pebbles, the outer ground, that is, the beach, consists of rocks. For this reason, it is recommended that you bring your sea shoes with you when you come to the beach. Since the water of the beach is quite clear, it is recommended to use snorkels and goggles while swimming. Thus, you can see different fish and Caretta Carettas swimming in the bay.
As we have just mentioned, the bay is currently operated by a private enterprise. You can both stay and swim in the bay operated by Blanca Beach. You can easily meet your eating and drinking needs in the restaurant of the business.
On the top of the rocks on the beach, there are sunbeds and umbrellas belonging to the enterprise. You can rent sun loungers and umbrellas for a fee.
